About PTI Trainers

There are over 485 Trainers across Canada certified by the Propane Training Institute to deliver our courses.

Trainers are individuals who are authorized to conduct classroom training of PTI courses.  Trainers must successfully complete our Train-the-Trainer course (700-01) that provides them with the skills to conduct training sessions.  A Trainer facilitates both the learning and examination process of the PTI training system.

[ Train-the-Trainer Course Outline ]

All Trainers certified by the Propane Training Institute must comply with our Code of Practice.  The Code of Practice is a comprehensive guideline of regulations and requirements that must be followed.  Trainers who breach the Code of Practice may be temporarily suspended or have their status permanently revoked.
