Training Materials

All students will receive the following materials as part of the overall training system:

The workbook is provided at the time of training. 

The certificate and wallet card are delivered to the student within 90 days of successful completion of the training course.

Workbook

All PTI courses have a student workbook covering the various learning objectives of the course.  The student may keep the workbook to use as future reference material.

Temporary Authorization

Upon successful completion of the examination process, the PTI Trainer or Examiner will issue a Temporary Authorization that provides proof that the student has successfully completed the course. 

The Temporary Authorization expires 90 days after the date of issue and must be presented to regulatory authorities upon request. 

The Temporary Authorization is used until the final certificate is issued by the Propane Training Institute.

Certificate (Record of Training)

A paper certificate, suitable for framing, is issued by the Propane Training Institute and replaces the Temporary Authorization.  A certificate is valid for three years from the date of training.

Wallet Card (Record of Training)

A plastic wallet card is also issued to the student.  A plastic wallet card is to be kept by the student and must be available for presentation to regulatory authorities upon request.  A plastic wallet card is valid for three years from the date of training.
