All PTI training courses carry a thirty-six month expiry period. Your training certificate is valid for three years from the date you received your training. Since 1999, we have been printing the expiry date on all PTI certificates and wallet cards.

If your certificate or wallet card does not display an expiry date, it is no longer valid. In order to have your certification remain valid, you must take the training course over.

Record of Training (ROT)

The Propane Training Institute issues wallet sized plastic cards and a paper wall certificate upon successful completion of the training courses. This certification card acts as your Record of Training (ROT), which is recognized by regulatory authorities across Canada.

There is no additional cost to receive the certification as this service is built into the cost of the student workbook.
