Dues Policy

For the purpose of definition, LP Gas is considered to be propanes, butanes and/or mixes of propanes and butanes.

For the purpose of calculating Core Fees Payable, Annual Gross Sales are defined as sales revenue derived from the transportation and/or sale of LP Gas to both the Canadian and export markets, including all revenue derived from LP Gas made available for distribution beyond point of production.

For the purpose of calculating Emergency Response Fees Payable, Annual Gross Sales (as defined above) are not required to include sales derived from those volumes transported solely by pipeline.

Prorated Fees Payable: Applicable to New Members Only

• Those joining the Association between January 1 and March 31 pay the full year’s Total Membership Fees Payable.
• Those joining the Association on or after April 1, but before July 1, pay 75% of the annual Total Membership Fees Payable.
• Those joining the Association on or after July 1, but before October 1, pay 50% of the annual Total Membership Fees Payable.
• Those joining the Association on or after October 1, pay 25% of the annual Total Membership Fees Payable.

Termination of Membership

The membership of any Active, Associate or Employee Member shall terminate:

• on the written resignation of the member;
• on ceasing to qualify for membership under Article 4, Section 4.1;
• by the special resolution (2/3rd’s affirmative vote) of the Board of Directors; and
• on the non-payment of dues within 60 days of their date as established by the Board of Directors from time to time.
