Providing the initial consultation and advice are the Response Managers (RMs). These RMs decide how many Remedial Measures Advisors (RMAs) are required at the scene of any emergency, and dispatch them and a Response Team when necessary. If your company is involved in an emergency, the RM will notify you that the plan has been activated. Remedial Measures Advisors Arrival time: within 6 hours of being called out. These technical and product experts provide advice and assistance in handling the incident. In some instances, they will also complete minor repairs. Response Teams Arrival time: within 12 hours of being called out. The Response Teams bring all the necessary equipment and expertise to perform remediation procedures. These fully hands-on emergency responders are, among other things, experts in transferring, flaring products and purging LPG containers. Home Base Co-ordinator The Home Base Co-ordinator performs the vital function of keeping the RMs, RMAs, the Response Team and your company in constant communication. This continues from the moment we get the call until the emergency has been handled successfully. Team Training Once a year a National Training Session is held for all the Remedial Measures Advisors, Response Team Leaders and Alternate Team leaders across Canada. They gather usually in May to share their learnings, learn new skills and refresh their knowledge. Also, once a year there is Regional Training that is held in each region for the Remedial Measures Advisors, Response Team Leaders, Alternate Team Leaders as well as all Response Team Members to test their skills and update them on any new developments. Our Goal: To be the Best of the Best
